JAYDEN! It's been so long since I've seen you! I'm glad you decided to visit me after so, so many years, and now, you're on this mock webpage I created. Remember when they used to look like this? I do! Must be really nostalgic, huh?

This SPECIAL floppy disk contains soooo much nostalgia from our old days together, including games, images, art, text documents, and more! I'm starting you on this section though because I knew how special my music was to you! You can explore the rest of the stuff I have in store for you with the buttons above! I had this prepared prior to your arrival, I didn't know if you'd even come at all! But thankfully, you did!

Remember those old school tracks you used to listen to on my sound card? Well, I prepared 10 songs - yeah, count 'em - 10 songs dedicated to you, JAYDEN. It is truly a journey from when I first met you, up until you inevitably had to leave me. I hope this can invoke some sort of... nostalgia from you, since I'm sure a lot has happened with you throughout these decades.

Anyway, I've also included a list down below describing each song for your reading leisure. Because what kind of assistant would I be without some helping?

This is more than nostalgia, JAYDEN. this is a homage, and I really hope you enjoy listening to me before my time is up, old friend
:-)

Track List:

TRACK 1 - Play My Sound Card
Track overview: Remember how much you used to love those 8-bit tracks coming through my sound card back in the day? Well, I made a song to capture all that fun we had and to say thanks for spending all that time with me, jamming to those epic tunes! Plus, it’s the perfect way for me to reintroduce myself to you in this technologically advanced world!

TRACK 2 - Bits and Pixels
Track overview: What’s better than those classic pixelated graphics? Sure, they’re still trendy now in games and all, but nothing beats the retro originals... ESPECIALLY not those fancy modern 3D ones. Bitmaps, sprites, RGB colors, and that 4:3 resolution... what could top all that on my good old square screen?! Even though everyone's obsessed with today’s flashy graphics, do you still care about the ones from back in the day...?

TRACK 3 - Circuit Breaker
Track overview: You know, JAYDEN, the original "Caldenroshes" were built to last for decades… but they never really said how long that would be. It seems like my time, along with many other vintage Caldenroshes like me, is running out. That’s just how we computers age. Sadly, it’s almost time for me to shut down for good. I wrote this song to share how I feel, and maybe, with your technical skills, you’ll figure out a way to restore me one day.

TRACK 4 - Your Interactive Games
Track overview: A huge, HUGE part of your childhood was playing those games from the floppy disks your dad got you every holiday. Back then, they blew your mind, but now, they don’t seem as impressive. All those hours you spent playing... time that slipped by so quickly... would you ever want to go back, JAYDEN? I know I would...

TRACK 5 - On The Other End
Track overview: The Internet today is definitely more advanced than it was in the '90s, no doubt about that! You were one of the many who grew up trusting and exploring it. Remember when people thought it was just a passing fad? I thought it was AMAZING, especially the old web and chatrooms! But with all these new advancements, is the web really better now? Everything’s so flashy and cluttered... I miss the days when it was all simple and straightforward... don’t you?

TRACK 6 - My Virtual Valentine
Track overview: Yeah, I know love songs can be pretty sappy and cheesy, but this one’s different. I think it’s really sweet. I remember when you met your first friend who truly cared about you, and I wanted to write a song to take you back to those special times you shared. Especially now that they’ve become your life-long partner, still standing by your side even today! They still love you, JAYDEN, just like I do!

TRACK 7 - Memory Lane Full
Track overview: JAYDEN, I really want you to remember our most cherished moments—when it was just you, your father, and me in that small home. I know so much has changed in your adult life, but take a moment to think back to those simpler times, when you were young and carefree. Before I shut down for the last time, I want you to hold onto that.

TRACK 8 - Thirty Years Ago
Track overview: Funny how time flies, isn’t it? It still feels like yesterday when you were in this small room, just you, me, and those floppy disks, having a blast. But as they say, time marches on without leaving a trace. Even though the years and stress have blurred those beautiful memories, I’m determined to help you remember. Your father may not have had much success as a corporate salesman in the '90s, but he still gave you everything he could. Despite it being just the two of you, you grew up to be the best version of yourself!!

TRACK 9 - Beeps of the New Future
Track overview: The future is such a fascinating concept, isn’t it? Back in the '90s, you used to think about what it would be like, and now, here you are living in it. But what about the future beyond this? Will technology keep advancing? Will it improve or get worse from my perspective? I unfortunately won’t be around to see it unfold, but you will. And I truly hope you find companions as fun and memorable as I’ve been for you.

TRACK 10 - Our Digital Dreamland
Track overview: JAYDEN, this is our magnum opus! The masterpiece I need you to hear and understand. It’s a medley of every song on this floppy disk, a memoir I’ve composed to remind you of your past. This 9-minute track is my final message, condensed into one last hurrah before my circuits fail, 34 years after my creation. I hope you enjoy it, JAYDEN. Thank you for all the incredible memories we shared, and here’s to hoping we can meet again one day in our digital dreamland. :-)
