Hello, Internet. So, Pearson Electronics recently released a new addition to the Solada family for the eFace, and I wanted to share my thoughts on it. Personally, I think it’s a significant improvement over the Solada 5. As a quick reminder, while I am an insider at Pearson Electronics, I’m unable to share any confidential information about our products, so please don’t request it.
I’ve been using the new Solada 5X for a few weeks now, and I have to say, Pearson knocked it out of the park with this one. As someone who’s been loyal to the eFace lineup since the beginning, the Solada 5X feels like a massive upgrade from the Solada 5 in almost every way.
Performance:
The new P4 mobile chip is a massive upgrade. Apps open instantly, multitasking is buttery smooth, and even with heavy use, I haven’t experienced any slowdowns. It’s like Pearson took the power of their eCal processors and shrunk it into a mobile format. Impressive stuff.
Memory:
With 24GB of RAM, you can do everything from running multiple apps to editing high-resolution videos without breaking a sweat. It’s way more than I ever thought I’d need, but now I can’t go back.
Design:
The Solada 5X maintains the sleek and durable design the eFace line is known for, but the new matte finish adds a premium touch. It’s slightly larger than the Solada 5, and the updated OLED display is brighter and more vibrant, making it a joy to use outdoors.
Battery Life:
The battery life is a noticeable improvement. I’ve been consistently getting a full day of heavy use, and the fast-charging feature has been a lifesaver.
So, if you’re an eFace user debating whether to upgrade, the Solada 5X is a no-brainer. It’s faster, smarter, and more refined in every way. Pearson really raised the bar with this one, as always.
Rating: ★★★★★ (5/5)
